What is a Centripetal Force?? And formula of Centripetal Force.

Definition—-

                         “A force acting on a body causing it to move in a circular path is known as centripetal force. The direction of this force is always directed towards the centre of the circle.”

“a centripetal force accelerates a body by changing the direction of the bodies velocity without change in the body’s speed.”

F=m×a

                               =m×v^2/r

                             F=mv^2/r

It’s SI unit is -Newton

.

                       Some important example of

                               Centripetal Force….

(1)——Motion of a bicycle rider on a plane circular path..

(2)——Banking owner of road and rail track at turn.
